A Century of Hospitality at the Tip of Cape Cod: Land's End Inn Celebrates 100 Years of Vibrant Provincetown History and Inclusivity

PROVINCETOWN, MA – April 13, 2026 – Land's End Inn, a cornerstone of Provincetown's historic West End, is officially entering its second century. Originally built in 1904 as a summer bungalow, it was transformed into a teahouse and inn in 1926. Throughout this time, the landmark has been a home for travelers, bon vivants, and a vibrant tapestry of queer guests and allies. In 2026, Land's End Inn celebrates 100 years of continuous operation, marking a century that embodied Provincetown's spirit—one of individuality, art, and shared experience.

Known for its sweeping views of Provincetown Harbor and Cape Cod Bay, the Inn is proud to maintain a year-round presence. Through just seven generations of owners, it has served as a welcoming beacon, allowing guests to experience the unique beauty and changing light of Provincetown through every season.
"We are proud to be the stewards of this magical place that is like an architectural bouillabaisse where everything comes together," said Ed Macri and Trevor Mikula, husbands and owners of Land's End Inn. "It's a place that welcomes everyone exactly as they are. We aren't just celebrating a building; we're celebrating a century of dreams, connections, and the vibrant queer history of Provincetown."

As Land's End Inn enters its next century, it remains a meticulously preserved architectural treasure. Its quintessential Provincetown quirkiness is found in every hand-carved detail, stained-glass windows and sparkling artifacts providing a dazzling backdrop that is as spirited and timeless as the guests who visit.

Centennial Highlights:
  • The History: Guests can explore the property's rich legacy in the 2024 hardcover book, Land's End Inn, which chronicles the journey from its 1904 origins to its 2026 centennial.
